The easiest way to share your ETH address
Similarly to web domain names, there is a domain name system for the Ethereum network.
It allows one to register a name in front of an ETH address (and easily share it later).
How to proceed?
It’s super easy.
This service is called ENS (Ethereum Name Service).
The very first step is to navigate to https://app.ens.domains/. This is the only official website for ENS registration.
You can now perform a search for your favorite name.
If you want to buy it, you will have to spend around 15 dollars per year.
Is it usefull?
Yes and no. It depends on how much you are using the eth blockchain, but in case you have to share your address (to receive a payment for example), it’s much easier compared to the long alphanumeric characters chain.
